vMind has introduced its new platform, “portvMind Public Cloud.” Designed by Turkish engineers at Yıldız Technopark, the platform stands out as the first and only service in Turkey to offer per-minute billing.
One of Turkey’s leading cloud providers, vMind unveiled its new “portvMind Public Cloud” platform. Developed by Turkish engineers at Yıldız Technopark, the platform distinguishes itself as the first service in Turkey to provide billing on a per-minute basis.
vMind CEO Volkan Duman stated that the platform offers businesses up to 30 percent cost savings. Operating under a “Pay-As-You-Use” model, the system stores data within Turkey and provides full security compliance with KVKK and ISO 27001 standards. Built on a microservices architecture, the platform enables scaling within minutes and accelerates artificial intelligence and data analytics projects with its GPU-ready infrastructure. Users can migrate to the cloud with a single click and benefit from free 24/7 Turkish-language expert support.
vMind Deputy General Manager Mehmet Ali Küçüktaş noted that Turkey’s cloud market is expected to exceed $9.7 billion by 2030. The company is targeting 70 percent growth this year and has initiated feasibility studies for a data center investment in the EMEA region as its first international expansion. The platform offers users their first TRY 10,000 worth of usage free of charge.

While global cloud providers typically apply hourly or longer billing cycles, portvMind aims to differentiate itself with its per-minute billing model. Thanks to this approach, users pay only for the time they actually use resources, enabling significant savings for short-term workloads. In the global cloud infrastructure market, Amazon Web Services (AWS) maintains its leadership with a 30 percent market share, followed by Microsoft Azure at 20 percent and Google Cloud at 13 percent.
