How WALLIX PAM Works
WALLIX PAM (Privileged Access Management) is a security solution that gives organizations centralized control over privileged access to servers, databases, network devices, and critical applications. At its core, WALLIX Bastion combines privileged password and session management, enabling the discovery, management, and auditing of every critical access activity. Users connect to target systems through Bastion rather than directly, so every access event passes through a single control point.
WALLIX Bastion routes all management and target access traffic through an Access Manager positioned in the DMZ and a Bastion Host operating in an isolated network. Session duration, executed actions, and user activity are recorded as full video and text logs. Thanks to least-privilege and Just-in-Time access policies, users are granted access only to the systems they need, only for as long as necessary — significantly reducing the attack surface and the risk of insider threats.
