From stores to the e-commerce warehouse, many systems were moved; with GPU-backed Kubernetes clusters, product images are processed in real time.
The infrastructure of Gürmen Group, which operates with the Ramsey and KİP brands, is not uniform: store systems, the e-commerce warehouse platform and AI-assisted design applications run at the same time. Each has different performance and continuity expectations.
The need was clear especially on the product image side: instantly resizing a large number of images for different channels and being able to put new services live without waiting.
The store systems, the e-commerce warehouse platform and the design workloads were moved to portvMind Public Cloud. These systems of different character run on a single platform, with resources sized to need.
GPU-backed Kubernetes clusters were set up for image processing. Images are processed in real time on these clusters; thanks to the container-based structure, new services go live without waiting.
“Thanks to GPU-backed Kubernetes clusters we resize images in real time and put services live instantly.”
